Modi congratulates those gave PM's Award for Outstanding Contribution for Promotion of Yoga

New Delhi, Jun 22 Prime Minister Narendra Modi Saturday congratulated those who have been conferred with the Prime Minister's Award for Outstanding Contribution for Promotion and Development of Yoga, 2019.

"We are tremendously glad for their rich work to guarantee more individuals grasp Yoga and our planet ends up more advantageous," he tweeted.

Modi posted the congratulatory message on Twitter in Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian, Japanese and English.

Established in 1980, the Japan Yoga Niketan has advanced yoga crosswise over Japan. It runs numerous yoga preparing foundations and courses. They have had the option to draw individuals from all sections of Japanese society, Modi said.

Established by Swami Satyananda Saraswati, the Bihar School of Yoga, Munger has been effectively working for more than 50 years.

"They combine ancient wisdom with present day patterns with a plan to improve wellness. Their yoga projects and distributions are broadly mainstream," the PM said.

Modi also referred to Antonietta Rozzi, who has a place with Italy and has been rehearsing Yoga for more than four decades. She established the Sarva Yoga International and promoted Yoga across Europe.

"We are glad for devoted people like her," he tweeted.

The PM said Swami Rajarshi Muni, who hails from Gujarat's Limbdi, has endeavored astounding endeavors to spread yoga. Most strikingly, he established the LIFE Mission and is related with Lakulish Yoga University that tutors understudies, he said.

"His commitment to social service is also outstanding," Modi said.
