Posters of Rahul, Priyanka, Robert Vadra removed from outside Congress office, party points the finger at Center

New Delhi, Feb 6 On Tuesday, Posters of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and her husband were set up outside the party office in Delhi. In any case, inside twenty-four hours of being set up, the posters have been taken down.

The Congress has blamed the Narendra Modi government for the move and alleged that dirty politics is being played. "Modi government is doing dirty politics, last night the posters were put up here now being removed," Congress leader Jagdish Sharma said.

Along with photographs of Priyanka and Robert, the posters also included photographs of Congress president Rahul Gandhi. The blurbs conveyed mottos like "Kattar Soch Nahi, Yuva Soch" and "Jan-Jan Ki Hai, Yahi Pukaar, Rahul ji-Priyanka ji Ab Ki Baar" (The people of the country want Rahul and Priyanka to win this time).

Vadra is expected to show up before the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday regarding the tax evasion case identifying with supposed ownership of illicit foreign assets.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) assaulted the Congress over the ED summons to Vadra saying that he profited by an oil and a resistance bargain which occurred in 2008-09 when the UPA was in power.

BJP representative Sambit Patra claimed that used the money to buy posh properties worth several crore rupees in London.

Quoting an email trail, he claimed that Vadra's company received "kickbacks" from a series of companies floated to "turn black money into white".

"The 2019 Lok Sabha election is a fight between the gang of corrupt versus transparency of Narendra Modi government," he said.

Then, Priyanka who was recently inducted as Congress general secretary for Uttar Pradesh, will be accountable for 43 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in the state. She touched base in the national capital from her trek abroad on Monday and is held gatherings with Rahul and other officer bearers. She is probably going to start her authority political voyage with a roadshow in Lucknow on February 11.
