Congress deluding individuals on Rafale issue: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, Feb 12 Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday blamed the Congress of misleading people by raking up the Rafale fighter jet deal issue repeatedly.

The Minister's remarks during Zero Hour in the Lok Sabha incited the Congress to censure the government and stage a walkout from the House.

"The issue has been discussed in detail in the House and the Supreme Court has additionally put the issue to rest. Congress has been raking up the issue every now and then. But the truth will remain true," he said.

Politics isn't finished by misleading people. A person should have the guts to talk reality, Singh included.

To this, Congress pioneer Mallikarjun Kharge emphasized his gathering's interest to establish a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to test the arrangement.

"The Prime Minister does not have the bravery to comprise a JPC. You comprise a JPC, we will prove the misdeeds," he said.

Kharge had before said that if the Prime Minister has nothing to hide, then he should come forth and announce the JPC probe for a detailed inquiry into the matter.
