Los Angeles, May 31 Actress-comic Kathy Griffin has apologises for posturing with a photo which demonstrates a bloodied and executed US President Donald Trump.
The 56-year-old actress confronted a great deal of reaction via social media after she shared the photo, which was a piece of her photoshoot with acclaimed picture taker Tyler Shields, on Twitter yesterday.
Griffin took to Twitter, where she posted a 31-second video message, she subtitled as, "I am sorry. I went too far.
I wasn't right."
In the clip, the actress issued an expression of remorse saying that she went too far as a comic.
"I'm a little while ago observing the response on these pictures... The picture is excessively irritating. I see how it annoys people, it wasn't funny, I get it."
Griffin then asked for the absolution from the gathering of people and claimed up her mistake.
She proceeded with, "I have committed a great deal of errors in my mistake. I will proceed. (I'm) going to request that the picture taker bring down the image..."
The photo was met with solid responses by identities like Donald Trump Jr, Chelsea Clinton and actress Debra Messing, who censured the photo unanimously.
