Shooters plunder two banks in Pulwama area

Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 3: Gunmen today plundered two banks, in discrete occurrences, in South Kashmir's Pulwama locale, inside couple of hours.

In the primary instance of burglary, a couple veiled shooters burst into the Ellaquai Dehati Bank in Wahibug town of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama area and plundered Rs. 5 lakh.

The second episode occurred at the Nehama branch of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank.

Two conceal shooters, prior on Tuesday, had plundered Rs. 65,000 from a similar bank.

A couple days back, activists had opened fire at a money conveyance van of a bank in Kulgam, killing five police constables and two bank authorities.

The fear based oppressors assaulted the van when it was returning in the wake of apportioning money to nearby bank offices.

On April 28, ready security strengths thwarted an offered by two aggressors to plunder a branch of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank (J-K Bank). One aggressor was captured, while the other figured out how to escape.

The episode happened when the bank's Mehandi Kadal branch representatives had gone to offer Friday supplications and the branch seemed, by all accounts, to be shut.
