Prime Minister Narendra Modi firmly denounces Kabul bombing

New Delhi, May 31 Prime Minister Narendra Modi today firmly denounced the bomb blast in Kabul and underlined the requirement for vanquishing powers supporting terrorism.

Modi, who is in Spain on a visit, said India remains with Afghanistan in battling all types of terrorism.

"We strongly denounce the terrorist blast in Kabul. Our thoughts are with the groups of the perished and prayers with the injured," he tweeted.

In another tweet, he stated, "Forces supporting psychological warfare should be vanquished."

The prime minister's message came after an effective truck bomb killed no less than nine individuals and injured scores of others in the Afghanistan capital's diplomatic quarter today morning.
