AAP Gandhi Nagar MLA Anil Bajpayi joins BJP

New Delhi, May 3 Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Gandhi Nagar Anil Bajpayi on Friday joined the BJP.

The move comes when AAP leaders, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, have accused the BJP for enjoying horse-trading

Bajpayi joined the BJP in presence of national VP and Delhi BJP in-charge Shyam Jaju, and Union Minister Vijay Goel, at the Delhi unit office here.

"I worked with AAP for many years. I was harmed by absence of regard and curious kind of working in the gathering. It has brought down its original path", he said.

Reacting to the development, senior AAP leader Gopal Rai said the party has just been stating that the BJP is endeavoring to "purchase" their MLAs.

On Wednesday, Sisodia alleged that the BJP offered Rs 10 crore each to seven AAP MLAs to switch sides.

However, Bajpayi denied taking money from the BJP and said Kejriwal is in the habit for making allegations and then tendering apologies.

Former Delhi BJP president and Union minister Goel Thursday guaranteed not seven but rather 14 AAP MLAs were in touch with his party and wanted to quit AAP due to "frustration and humiliation".

Three municipal councilors of AAP also joined the BJP.
