Bhubaneswar, Apr 10 Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Wednesday wanted for the speedy recovery of Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama.
Patnaik conveyed his best wishes and sincere prayers on behalf of the people of Odisha, saying "The world needs him."
"Convey my best wishes and sincere prayers on behalf of the people of #Odisha for the @DalaiLama's speedy recovery and a long life. Concerned that he has been hospitalized. The world needs him," Patnaik tweeted.
The 83-year-old Dalai Lama was admitted to a private hospital in Delhi on Tuesday with a chest infection and his condition is stated to be stable.
