New Delhi, Apr 27 Prime Minister Narendra Modi today mourned the end of Vinod Khanna, saying he will be recognized as a famous on-screen character and a committed leader.
"Will never forget Vinod Khanna as a mainstream performing artist, committed leader and a magnificent human. Tormented by his downfall. My sympathies," he said in a tweet.
The veteran actor and BJP MP died of cancer at a Mumbai hospital today.
Khanna was four-time MP from Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab.
