New Delhi, June 29 Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Friday said that the security powers will proceed with their activities under rules of engagement in Jammu and Kashmir.
Armed force Chief Rawat's announcement comes when the Valley has been seeing a huge spurt in terror activity.
"Army continues to operate under strict rules of engagement that have been figured and we will dependably keep on operating under those rules of engagement. We lead activities in an exceptionally people inviting way," Army Chief Rawat told.
"Motivated reports continue turning out that Army and security powers in Kashmir are ruthlessly completing their activities which aren't valid," he included.
Further speaking on security factor, Army Chief Rawat expressed that their point is to follow psychological oppressors, who are making brutality.
"Our basic object is to get after terrorists who are creating violence and disturbance in the Kashmir Valley. Our point isn't to make burden the non military personnel populace which isn't indulging in arsenal violence," Army Chief Rawat noted.
Earlier in the day, a terrorists militant was killed in an experience with the security forces close Trehgam zone in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara locale.
The area has been cordoned off and look task in progress.
Recently, veteran journalist and editor of Rising Kashmir daily paper Shujaat Bukhari was shot dead by terrorists in Press Colony in Srinagar.
The same day, the bullet-ridden body of Rifleman Aurangzeb, who was kidnapped by terrorists from Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama, was recuperated from Gusoo area.
