Mayawati: Surgical strikes video is BJP's attempt to divert people

New Delhi, June 29 Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Friday said that the surgical strikes video discharged out in the open space is only an endeavor by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to occupy individuals.

Mayawati's comment comes days after the Congress blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi-drove administration of using the surgical strikes for political increases after a video of the same was released.

"Releasing video of careful strike is only an endeavor by this (BJP) Government to occupy individuals from their huge disappointments previously 2019. On the off chance that they did it with goal of demonstrating evidence, at that point for what reason did they not discharge video when strike was completed?," Mayawati told.

On a related note, Congress leader Randeep Surjewala on Thursday while collaborating with media had said that the BJP 'improperly' used the surgical strikes for their advantage amid the get together race in Uttar Pradesh.

"The country should be advised, whenever Modi Government starts failing, whenever Amit Shah's BJP begins losing, they misuse the valor of the Army for their political benefit," Surjewala had stated.

On Wednesday, the video footage of the September 2016 surgical strikes was discharged openly space.

The strikes were directed by the Indian Army in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) in light of the Uri terror attack wherein 18 Army faculty were killed.
