Lucknow, Jan 23 A man was captured for supposedly mimicking as an authority of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), as per an announcement issued by the Uttar Pradesh Police's Special Task Force (STF) here Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, the STF captured Naresh Rai from Jiamau locality here on Tuesday, it said.
The STF had gotten a complaint that Rai used to call bureaucrats posing like a PMO official and request that they give contracts and occupations to a few people, it stated, adding that he used to take cash for this.
A SUV was also seized, the statement added.
