Washington, Feb 1 Sky is the point of confinement for the US-India relationship and President Donald Trump is quick to see the two nations accomplishing all the more together, US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley has said.
Haley's comments came amid her lunch meeting with the Indian Ambassador to the US, Navtej Singh Sarna, at his living arrangement on Tuesday.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being aggressive in pursuing economic and administrative changes, Haley told a select gathering of Indian-Americans that the Trump organization has also embraced a comparative operation.
"It bodes well for the two popular governments, having such a great amount in like manner esteems to cooperate," the Indian-American negotiator said.
Haley, 46, is the first ever Cabinet-ranking Indian-American in any US presidential administration.
Haley said when she entered the Trump organization, she frantically needed to see the US-India relations to be exceptionally solid "which wasn't the situation amid the last two administrations".
"It didn't sound good to me since when you take a gander at the qualities, they're the same. When you take a gander at the hard working attitudes and what they accept from a corporate outlook - the same.
When you look at the research and every one of the things that we do, these two vote based systems have such a great amount in like manner," she said.
"We're seeing a developing interest, and a developing relationship and seeing that happen. The president is exceptionally partial to what is going on with India, developing that relationship attempting to ensure that we accomplish more with India," Haley said.
"I surmise that sky's the limit now. We will proceed to attempt and demonstrate the estimations of India to the United States and keep endeavoring to demonstrate the estimations of the US to India," she said.
Haley said Modi wasaggressively pursuing reforms and changes in India.
"He particularly needs to streamline and do these changes, that are valid for this (Trump) organization as well. So I believe it's a decent blend to have them (Trump-Modi) together," Haley said.
In his comments, Sarna depicted Haley as the "star" of the Trump administration.
"It is dependably an enjoyment to see the feeling of pride that Ambassador Haley has in her Indian roots, and the high esteem she connects to the India-US relationship even as she assumes such a noticeable part in the American political circle," Sarna told.
Sarna said Haley's story truly demonstrated that "can't isn't an alternative".
"Originating from a group of settlers, originating from a moderately little provincial town and moving so rapidly to hold the post of senator was in itself an immense accomplishment," said Sarna.
Haley before her posting at the UN had filled in as the legislative head of South Carolina.
"From that point to here when throughout the most recent one year we have seen you become, in the event that I may say as much, the star of this organization," he said.
