Kohima, Feb 22 Fifty-nine percent of the possibility for the February 27 Assembly elections are crorepatis with JD(U) candidate Ramongo Lotha being the richest with a total wealth of Rs 38.92 crore, an analysis of the sworn statements said.
The Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR), which examined the testimonies of 193 competitors out of a sum of 196 applicants, found out that 114 candidates are crorepatis.
The findings were reported by Hekani Jakhalu of YouthNet Nagaland, an unmistakable youth association, at a press meet here yesterday
The affidavits of three competitors couldn't be analysed as their affidavits in the public domain of the Nagaland Chief Electoral Officer was not in the least clear, Jakhalu said.
Lotha, a resigned IAS officer, has mobile resources worth Rs 22,81,960 and undaunted resources at Rs 38,69,40,000 taking his aggregate riches to Rs 38.92 crore, the ADR examination said.
The JD(U) nominee is contesting the elections from Sanis situate in Wokha region.

Nagland Chief Minister T R Zeliang challenging on Naga People's Front (NPF) ticket from Peren situate has announced in his sworn statement that his aggregate resources (both versatile and steady) are worth Rs 3.52 crore, it said.
Former three-time chief minister and NDPP chosen one from Northern Agamai-II situate Neiphiu Rio has versatile resources worth Rs 15.37 crore.
Another previous chief minister K L Chishi has add up to resources of Rs 38.20 crore yet he also has highest liabilities among every one of the competitors at Rs 89 lakh, the analysis said.
The other competitors with pitiful resources are T Ngampai, Chinkai Konya and K Kiko Konyak, Jakhalu said.
Ngampai is the Congress hopeful from Phomching seat and has add up to resources worth Rs 5,000, the investigation said.
Konya, the NPF chosen one from Tehok situate, has add up to resources of Rs 10,000 while K Kiko Konyak, the NDPP competitor from Moka electorate, has add up to resources of Rs 20,000.
While 46 candidates have assets esteemed at Rupees five crore or more, 42 candidates have assets at Rupees two crore or more, the investigation said.
Sixty candidates have assets worth Rs 50 lakh or more, 26 wannabes have resources at Rs 10 lakh or more and 19 are in control of benefits esteemed at not as much as Rs 10 lakh, it said.
Out and out 27 candidates have not declared their sources of income in their affidavits, Jakhalu said.
The ADR investigation also found three competitors have announced criminal cases against themselves.
The competitors are one each from the NPF, NDPP and BJP.
While three competitors are illiterate, 16 candidates are class-8 pass and five are doctorates, the analysis said.
Just seven candidates are between 25 years and 30 years, 29 candidates are between 31 years and 40 years and the rest are over 40 years.
