New Delhi, Feb 24 Passports of Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi have been revoked, as per the sources in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
The passports have been revoked as they failed to react on MEA's show cause notice.

The team, whose locations are not known, are needed in India for their alleged contribution in redirecting cash from the PNB to the tune of more than 11,000 crore rupees.
Prior in the day, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) provisionally attached 21 immovable properties, worth Rs. 523.72 crore, of Nirav Modi and companies controlled by him.
The scam, allegedly began in 2011 , was uncovered a month ago, after which the PNB authorities detailed it to the concerned agencies.
