Mumbai, Feb 25 The 'Dream Girl' of Bollywood, Hema Malini on Sunday grieved the sudden demise of veteran actor Sridevi, who breathed his last on Saturday.
The 69-year-old said her passing is a major misfortune to the Indian film industry
"The news has left me in deep shock. She was a wonderful actress, who, through her talent, motivated and impacted such a significant number of individuals. It is a major misfortune for Bollywood," Malini told.
In an ardent note, superstar Aamir Khan recalled the veteran star and said he feels 'deeply disturbed."
"I am profoundly exasperates and disheartened by the untimely and tragic passing away of Srideviji. I have dependably been an immense devotee of her work. Similarly I have dependably been an admirer of the effortlessness and pride with which she acted. My genuine sympathies to everybody in the family. I join all the millions of her fans in mourning her demise. Ma'am, we will always remember you with love and respect. a," said the 'Dangal' star.
Grieving the downfall, movie producer Madhur Bhandarkar said he can't trust the veteran performing artist is no more.
"The whole country is stunned. Despite everything I can't trust it that Sridevi ji is no more. She had done incalculable amazing parts, it's exceptionally miserable,".
Producer Ashoke Pandit paid his sympathies to the family and stated, "Whatever motion pictures she did, her exhibitions were unmatched. My genuine sympathies to her family. The whole business is in 'Sadma' by hearing this news."
Veteran performer Ranjeet said the 'Chandni' of Bollywood was "a humble and beautiful lady."
"Amazing. She was a humble and beautiful woman. She was a stunning craftsman who had the capacity to pass on everything through her eyes. IIt feels like we are all in an airport departure lounge waiting for our announcements," the 71-year-old told.
On-screen character Annu Kapoor said he needed to acknowledge the news of Sridevi's death as a 'rumour'.
"I needed to acknowledge it as talk, however at last it was a reality. Wherever she is, may her spirit rest in peace. Our prayers are with her family. Country grieves, she was a heartthrob for silver screen darlings. We will always remember her," Kapoor said.
Bollywood's first female superstar, Sridevi died in Dubai after heart failure. She was 54. Sridevi is made due by her husband - producer Boney Kapoor - and little girls Jhanvi and Khushi.
