Donald Trump: US schools require 'offensive ability'

Washington, Feb 24 President Donald Trump has reiterated the idea of arming teachers and looked for offensive capacities in schools to stop mass shootings.

This comes after a week ago's shooting at a secondary school that killed 17 people. The shooting started a serious push to limit access to assault rifles fuelled by student activists who requested concrete gun control measures.

"If, by the way, the bad guy thinks that someone's in this stay with a weapon that will be pointed at him, with live bullets, he's not going into the school. It's the restricted you will understand it," Trump told reporters at a joint White House news conference.
