Sabarmati (Gujarat), Feb 19 "A beautiful place of peace, humility and truth, that is as required today as it ever might have been," read the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's expressions of acclaim for the Gandhi Ashram at Sabarmati, which he went by on Monday, alongside his family.
The other family membes also signed the visitor's book.
Trudeau, his significant Sophie and kids Xavier, Hadrien and Ella-Grace adorned Indian ethnic garments on their visit to the extremely old ashram, which was the living arrangement of Mahatma Gandhi during the freedom struggle.
On Sunday, Trudeau and family had gone to the notable Taj Mahal in Agra and a natural life haven in Mathura.
The Canadian Prime Minister who arrived in New Delhi on Saturday, is also scheduled to visit Amritsar, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai.
The visit will give a chance to Trudeau to associate with the Indian pioneers in government and business, promote empowerment of women and girls, and fortify Canada and India's nearby financial ties.
The Indian and Canadian sides will reaffirm the close friendship between the two nations and discuss ways to further deepen bilateral cooperation.
Trudeau will also participate in several business roundtables to advance further exchange and investment between Canada and India.
Canada will work intimately with the Indian leaders to propel their economic opportunities in both countries respectively.
