Lok Sabha deferred again in the midst of sloganeering by members

New Delhi, Dec 19 Lok Sabha proceedings were deferred for the second time on Wednesday after the House reconvened at twelve, in the midst of sloganeering and dissents by AIADMK, Congress and TDP members over different issues.

While AIADMK members challenged development of a dam over the Cauvery stream, those from the Congress demanded a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) test into the Rafale deal.

The legislature dismissed the interest for a JPC.

As the challenges proceeded with, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan suspended procedures till 2 pm.

Prior when the House met toward the beginning of the day, members from the three gatherings trooped into the Well, holding notices and later begun yelling trademarks.

In excess of 40 members were in the Well.

A few members from the ruling BJP also looked to raise certain issues from their seats.

Minimal more than ten minutes into the Question Hour, where one inquiry and different supplementaries were taken up, the Speaker adjourned proceedings till twelve after vociferous protests.
