Buyers from Stalled projects of Amrapali, Unitech, Jaypee, Eath, Supertech, Rudra, Premia, Shubkaamna, Airwill, Today homes, AVJ statures, Rajput manufacturers, Sampada Livia, Ansal API, Morpheus Prateeksha and a lot more today began their march under NEFOWA towards Parliament, the demand was to reach parliament and give their letters to the government or to get captured in doing as such! regardless of the cool climate Ladies Elderly and children started assembling at Central Secretariat metro station with slogans against the government’s laziness against their issues. The public mood conveyed the irate state they have reached due to govt apathy, despite electing this government with finish majority in Centre as well as state and paying all levels of taxes on time buyers said that they have not gotten anything from them except carrots on a stick and the issues stay as may be, regardless of having 4.5 years rule at focus and 2 years at state level the government has not been able to break the nexus of builders banks and Authorities, it currently appears that the govt like its antecedents turned into a piece of this nexus, as soon as the buyers shouting slogans started marching towards parliament they were captured and taken to the parliament road Police station, post that the rest of the buyers joined them with their banners and requested from police to release their fellow harassed buyers, Mr. Sukpal Singh dressed himself in a patient's attire with Oxygen mask and carrying blood transfusion bottles to show how people are dying due to the stress they are facing because of this nexus, being money related, rationally and physically depleted of the existence constrain he introduced the real express the purchasers are in as of now. After right around a hour the buyers buyers were released, post that ALL of the buyers headed towards Jantar Mantar to proceed with their protest.
The Demands that the purchasers raised were:-
1. Governments both centre and state should find a way to start the construction, if necessary in buyers benefit they ought to bring a ordinance to get ample budget allocated for reviving the construction In the stuck projects.
2. Banks should be immediately asked to give EMI waivers, and no interest to charged further till the buyer gets possession
Protesting buyers further expressed that if we have to follow the lengthy process of getting justice via Supreme Court then for what reason should they offer Vote to the chose pioneers from next time! Indeed, even subsequent to making "Home for everybody" an election manifesto current governments seems to be favouring the corrupt developers and Authorities.
Amrapali buyers expressed that by going to supreme court have reignited their hopes of getting their homes built by NBCC, however the issue of funds still remains, the way toward Auctioning the manufacturers properties and producing assets from moving of unsold flats will take a lot of time and to help this Government should take the responsibility of getting the fund needed to start the construction.
NEFOWA group later went to the PMO to handover their Memorandum and expressed if the govts don't pay notice to these requests NEFOWA will continue to fight for the same, that it was also decided chosen that ALL purchasers from stuck projects will celebrate Christmas and New Years on DND where from 25th December onwards the buyers will do a protest every day on DND.
