Prime Minister Narendra Modi hails ISRO for GSAT launch

New Delhi, Dec 5 Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday saluted ISRO on the effective dispatch of GSAT-11, saying the wonderful work of researchers enlivened each Indian.

He said it was a noteworthy achievement for the nation's space program which would change the lives of crores of Indians by associating remote zones.

"Congratulations to ISRO for the successful launch of GSAT-11, which is the heaviest, biggest and most-progressive high throughput correspondence satellite of India," he tweeted.

He said India was glad for its scientists who continued enhancing and setting elevated expectations of scale, achievements and success.

"Their remarkable work motivates each Indian, the PM said.

India's heaviest satellite GSAT-11, that would help broadband administrations in the nation, was successfully launched by an Arianespace rocket from the French Guiana in the early long periods of Wednesday.

The Ariane-5 vehicle infused the GSAT-11 into the circle in a flawless flight lasting around 33 minutes.

"...the heaviest, biggest and most powerful satellite ever built by India is successfully launched by Ariane-5 today," Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Chairman K Sivan said not long after the launch.
