Banwarilal Purohit confirmed as Tamil Nadu Governor बनवारिलाल पुरोहित ने टीएन राज्यपाल के रूप में शपथ ली

चेन्नई, 6 अक्टूबर बनवारिलाल पुरोहित ने आज तमिलनाडु के 25 वें राज्यपाल के रूप में शपथ ग्रहण की।

यहां राजभवन में शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में मद्रास उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश, न्यायमूर्ति इंदिरा बनर्जी ने पुरोहित को पद की शपथ दिलाई।

पुरोहित ने भगवान के नाम पर शपथ ली थी

समारोह में मौजूद मुख्यमंत्री के पलानीस्वामी, उनके मंत्रिमंडल के सहयोगियों और डीएमके के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष 
और विधानसभा में विपक्ष के नेता एम के स्टालिन भी उपस्थित थे।

इससे पहले, मुख्य सचिव गिरिजा वैद्यनाथन ने 29 सितंबर को राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद द्वारा नियुक्ति के वारंट को पढ़ा, 
पुरोहित को तमिलनाडु के गवर्नर के रूप में नियुक्त किया।

अगस्त 2016 में वह के। रॉसैय्या सेवानिवृत्ति के बाद से राज्य के पहले पूर्णकालिक गवर्नर हैं।

महाराष्ट्र के राज्यपाल सी। विद्यासागर राव को सितंबर 2016 से राज्य का अतिरिक्त प्रभार दिया गया था।

 

Chennai, Oct 6 Banwarilal Purohit was today confirmed as the 25th Governor of Tamil Nadu.

At the swearing-in ceremony held at Raj Bhavan here, Chief Justice of Madras High Court, Justice Indira Banerjee directed the promise of office to Purohit.

Purohit took oath in the name of God.

Boss Minister K Palaniswami, his bureau partners, and DMK Working President and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly MK Stalin, were among those present at the function.

Prior, Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan read out the Warrant of Appointment issued on September 29 by President Ram Nath Kovind, naming Purohit as Governor of Tamil Nadu.

He is the first full-time Governor of the state since the retirement of K Rosaiah in August 2016.

Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao had been given extra charge of the state since September 2016.
