भारतीय वायु सेना कर्मियों और दो सेनापति मारे गए।

रूसी निर्मित एमआई -17 वी 5 हेलीकॉप्टर पहाड़ी क्षेत्र में भारतीय सेना के एक पद के लिए आपूर्ति कर रहा था।

उन्होंने कहा, "दुर्घटना के कारण का पता लगाने के लिए एक अदालत की जांच का आदेश दिया गया है," उन्होंने कहा।

इससे पहले, एक वायुसेना अधिकारी ने कहा था कि पांच कर्मियों की मौत हो गई और एक व्यक्ति गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया।

8 अक्टूबर को वायु सेना दिवस से दो दिन पहले दुर्घटना हुई थी, बल द्वारा बड़े पैमाने पर मनाया गया।

New Delhi, Oct 6 A Mi-17 helicopter of the Indian Air Force crashed near Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh today, killing seven military staff, a senior IAF official said.

Five IAF personnel, including two pilots, and two army men were killed in the crash close to the remote town of Tawang, near the China border, around 6 am, the authority said.

The Russian-produced Mi-17 V5 helicopter was conveying supplies to a forward post of the Indian Army in the rocky area.

"A court of inquiry has been requested to discover the reason of the accident," he said.

Prior in the day, an IAF official had said five faculty were killed and one individual was fundamentally harmed.

The crash comes two days ahead of Air Force Day on October 8, celebrated in a big way by the force.

"Our misfortunes in the peacetime are a reason for concern. We are trying deliberate endeavors to limit mishaps and save our benefits," Air Chief Marshal B S Dhanoa had said yesterday, alluding to a series of accidents of IAF choppers and military jets in recent years.

The Mi-17 V5 is a Russian manufactured medium-lift military transport chopper.
