HC absolves guardians Talwars in Aarushi kill case

Allahabad, Oct 12 The Allahabad High Court today cleared Rajesh and Nupur Talwar in the murder of their teenage daughter Aarushi and their domestic help Hemraj in 2008.

The decision closes a nine-year experience of the guardians who were discovered liable by a CBI court of killing 14-year-old Aarushi in an attack of anger since they associated her with engaging in extramarital relations with Hemraj.

A division bench of the court containing judges B K Narayana and A K Mishra maintained the Talwars' allure against the CBI court arrange condemning them to life detainment on November 26, 2013.

Nupur and Rajesh Talwar have been serving their sentence in Ghaziabad's Dasna jail.

Aarushi was found dead inside her room in the Talwars' Noida habitation with her throat opening in May 2008. The needle of doubt had at first moved towards 45-year-old Hemraj, who had gone missing but his body was recuperated from the terrace of the house two days after the fact.

As the Uttar Pradesh Police drew fire over trashy investigation into the case which was making national headlines, the then chief minister Mayawati gave over the test to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
