Congress' DNA smells of debasement: BJP on sun powered scam case

New Delhi, October 13 The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday bashed the Congress over the sun oriented trick and said that the 'entire DNA of Congress smells of corruption.'

Tending to the media here, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that taking measures against corruption has never been a piece of the DNA of Congress, including that the opposition party pioneers, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, have done nothing to curb the ceaseless corruption in the gathering.

Talking about the sunlight based trick, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the commission that was set up by Congress pioneer Oommen Chandy, discovered just him blameworthy of the trick.

On October 11, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan coordinated an enquiry against previous boss pastor Oommen Chandy and others regarding the case.

The chief minister's order came days after the Commission headed by Justice G. Sivarajan, which tested the multi-crore trick, presented its last answer to him.

The case identifies with cheating of lakhs from a few people by Sarith S. Nair and her live-in accomplice Biju Radhakrishnan subsequent to promising to set up sun based boards. They were business accomplices of Team Solar Renewable Energy Solutions Private Limited, a Kochi based firm.

Radhakrishan is another accused in the case.

They were captured in October 2013 and in December 2016. The Judicial Magistrate Court in Perumbavoor had condemned the twosome to three years in jail and a fine of Rs. 10,000 each.

Amid examination, the former chief minister and some of his cabinet associates were blamed for taking a colossal whole of cash as a piece of the arrangement. Chandy had removed before the Commission in December 2016, saying that the charges against him were politically roused.
