BJP's center board of committee meeting starts

Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 22 A meeting of the Kerala BJP center board of committee started here today in the setting of Rs 5.6 crore join affirmations against a party functionary over the issue of give of MCI freedom to a private therapeutic school.

The charged trick has also put some state leader under a cloud.

Senior BJP leader, H Raja, state president Kummanam Rajasekharan, former state chief V Muraleedharan, former union minister and solitary gathering MLA in the Kerala assembly O Rajagopal were among those taking part in the meeting.

The trick came to fore when the report of an inward council, which tested the affirmations, was supposedly spilled to the media.

Despite the fact that the state authority at first denied the assertions, saying they were "exaggerated and only rumours", later R S Vinod, convener of party's helpful cell was removed from the primary membership hours after the substance of the report, apparently submitted to state party chief last month , surfaced in a section of media.

While the decision CPI(M) in Kerala has said charges were only a "tip of an ice sheet" and that BJP had supposedly acknowledged cash from 70 private medicinal schools the nation over for getting MCI freedom, Congress needed a test into "all dealings of state BJP pioneers" after NDA rode to power at the cenre.

Watchfulness test into the allegations has just started.
