Imphal, Jul 25 Manipur government would pull back from the Suspension of Operation (SoO) agreement signed with militant outfits and the Centre, if the aggressors damage standard procedures, Chief Minister N Biren Singh has said.
Biren's statement came after an opposition MLA encouraged him in the Assembly to give a statement on the killing of a school girl at the Indo-Myanmar border town of Moreh on Sunday.
Biren said the government got a report that the school young lady was shot dead inside her home supposedly by an activist having a place with Kuki National Army (KNA).
The issue was insinuated to the Centre for making a move, the chief minister said yesterday.
The SoO was marked by the Centre, Manipur government and two aggregates of Kuki aggressor outfits - Kuki National Organisations and United Peoples Front. The agreement was first marked in 2008 and extended occasionally.
KNA has a place with one of the combinations.
Two months ago, the Manipur chief minister had said that the SoO was a "disappointment" as security forces were 'not genuine's in their endeavors, and had communicated worry over regular infringement of SoO conditions by militants.
Many of the militants who are a piece of SoO wander at their will and don't remain in their assigned camps, along these lines damaging the conditions, Biren had said.
