New Delhi, Jul 11 Former West Bengal governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi is the opposition's pick for the post of VP, sources said today.
Gandhi's name was the main name examined when 18 resistance parties met today to settle on their possibility for the bad habit presidential survey, the sources said.
The JD(U), which had broken positions with the restriction over the presidential survey, likewise went to the meeting which chose Mahatma Gandhi's grandson to be its chosen one for VP.
While Sharad Yadav spoke to the JD(U), other pioneers at the meeting included Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, previous PM Manmohan Singh, TMC's Derek O' Brien, CPI(M's) Sitaram Yechury, NC's Omar Abdullah, SP's Naresh Agarwal and BSP's Satish Chandra Mishra.
Surveying for the VP's post will occur on August 5 if required. The votes will be checked a same evening.
