Congressmen disturbs 'Indu Sarkar' shows in Maharashtra

Mumbai, Jul 28 Congress workers today disturbed shows of Madhur Bhandarkar's "Indu Sarkar", the film in view of the Emergency imposed by the Indira Gandhi government in 1975, at a few several cinema halls in the state.

As the film released today, the party worker slowed down its screening at a few theaters and multiplexes in Thane, Nanded, Nashik and Jalgaon regions. Be that as it may, the shows continued later in the midst of tight police security, police officials said.

"Police have kept a strict vigil outside the theaters and no untoward episode has been accounted for up until now," they said.

In Thane city, around 15 Congress workers were arrested after they held dissents outside a multiplex.

In Nanded city, no less than 15 party men accumulated outside a theater, where "Indu Sarkar" was planned to be screened.
