Pakistan summons Indian emissary over ceasefire violations along LoC

Islamabad, Jul 19 Pakistan today summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh after two civilians were killed and six others harmed in alleged ceasefire violations along the Line of Control by Indian troops.

Foreign ministry representative Nafees Zakaria said Indian security strengths depended on terminating in Baroh and Tandar divisions yesterday.

Director General (SA and SAARC) Mohammad Faisal summoned the Indian deputy high commissioner and "censured the unmerited truce infringement" by Indian security forces.

"The consider targeting of civilians is to be sure miserable and as opposed to human respect and worldwide human rights and philanthropic laws," Faisal said.

He urged India to regard the 2003 Ceasefire arrangement and investigate the incidents of ceasefire violations along the LoC.

The Pakistani foreign ministry previously summoned the Indian envoy for two sequential days on July 8 and 9 this month, over a similar issue, asserting that more regular people were killed in firing by Indian troops.
