Foreign Minister woos Indian student for education opportunities in Australia

Gurgaon, Jul 19 Australia's foreign minister today advised students here about different instructive trade openings accessible in her nation.

"Australia is the second most well known goal in the world for international students and a year ago there were 70,000 enrolments from India for students to study in our universities, in our institutions and we have a portion of the best in the world," Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said.

She said that though technological adaptability is a must in this day and age time yet a person's capacity to impart ought not be taken away by machines.

"This is a period of unprecedented change and we see technological advancements upsetting the way we live, the way we communicate and the way we work.

"When we see an expansion in mechanical robotics, automation and artificial intelligence, technological adaptability isa must but an individual's ability to communicate should not be taken away by machines," Bishop said in a collaboration with students.

Bishop is on a two-day visit to India amid which she approached Prime Minister Narendra Modi and furthermore met her Indian partner Sushma Swaraj to take forward bilateral engagement on defence and security issues.

She made the comments on the importance of "relational abilities" while tending to students regarding the matter 'Professions of future' at the Shiv Nadar School here.

"We can see that the employments and professions without bounds will be altogether different. After 10 years, no less than 65 per cent of students today will wind up working in an industry which has not been thought of.
