Arun Jaitley: Country safe under Prime Minister Modi

New Delhi, Mar 12 Asserting that the nation is sheltered under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Tuesday accused the Congress for weakening the fight against Jehadi terrorists, and wondered if the party could be trusted by voters in the upcoming general elections.

In a blog, Jaitley said the Congress party is one with the government on condemning Pulwama terror attack bringing about death of 41 CRPF jawans, but is disturbed about air strikes in Balakot, Pakistan.

He said the Congress has more than once rubbished the careful strikes of September 2016 and battles that they have either occurred in the past also or then again they never occurred under Prime Minister Modi.

"On the air strikes, their conduct is even more dubious," the minister said.

While giving "lip sympathy" to the Indian Air Force for the first two days, the Congress started a multi-pronged attack and questioned the success of the strikes.

The fantastic old party, Jaitley stated, began requesting verification that terrorists had passed on at Balakot and even battled that the strike had occurred not against dread but rather to guarantee BJP's victory in the forthcoming elections.

"This was a self-goal by the Congress in domestic politics. This was also playing under the control of Pakistan where articulations of Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, were happened on TV channels in Pakistan.

"Pakistan Government channels these statements to bolster their own falsehood," Jaitley said in the blog titled 'Motivation 2019 Part - 2: Prime Minister Modi's Evolving National Security Doctrine'.

He further said the Congress had no organized arrangement amid ten years of UPA on the most proficient method to manage the issues of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi inherited this as a legacy issue. He tested the traditional strategy for attempting to mollify the association with Pakistan in an expectation that smarter sense would win, however Pakistan reacted with Pathankot, Uri and Pulwama.

"He encouraged the mainstream political parties of the Valley to be a piece of the national alliance in Kashmir however lamentably the double talk of support from Delhi and the weight from the Jamat-e-Islami were to the disadvantage of enemies of separatists approach," Jaitley said.

The finance minister also said the BJP-led government, both at the Centre and in Chhattisgarh, had a reliably solid position against the Left wing extremism.

"From JNU to Chhattisgarh, the Congress has hit an arrangement with them. There are expanding occurrences of Left wing fanatics effectively promising the Kashmiri Jehadis in the Kashmir valley.

"The Congress does not oppose the idea of a pro-active approach in destroying terror at its purpose of cause. It is exasperates as to the political aftermath of this pro-active approach on the image of Prime Minister," he said.

When India is doing combating ultra-Left and Jehadi psychological militants, looking with genuine risk of cross outskirt fear based oppression, Jaitley thought about whether electorate could believe the individuals who have debilitated the battle against terrorism.

"This is a decision before the electorate in the 2019 general races. Will an over-ground partner of Left wing fanaticism be placed in power at New Delhi? Can those who have debilitated the fight against terror for the reason for vote bank politics be trusted?

"Should not those who have played into the Pakistani hands be taught a severe lesson in these elections? Unhesitatingly the answer to the above inquiry is a major yes'. This nation is protected and secure under the NDA Government driven by Prime Minister Modi," he said.

The Modi-drove NDA government will look for a second term as 900 million individuals are relied upon to cast a ballot in the Lok Sabha elections starting April 11. Tallying of votes will be taken up on May 23.

A few non-BJP parties like the Congress, SP, BSP, and TMC have held hands to shape a fantastic alliance 'Mahagathbandhan' to take on Narendra Modi-drove NDA in the expected races.

The polling will be hung on April 11, April 18, April 23, April 29, May 6, May 12 and May 19 for 543 Lok Sabha seats the nation over.

In 2014, Modi-drove BJP had won 282 seats out of 543 electorates in the Lok Sabha, passing out a devastating annihilation to the 10-year-principle of the United Progressive Alliance led by the Congress.
