BJP to finalise Lok Sabha candidates in Telangana on March 15

Hyderabad, Mar 12 The BJP would finalise its possibility for Lok Sabha elections in Telangana on March 15, a party leader said Tuesday.

The names are probably going to be announced on that day or March 16, Telangana BJP Chief authority spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao told.

The Lok Sabha elections would be held in single stage in Telangana on April 11.

The BJP fared gravely in the December seven 2018 Assembly elections in Telangana, winning only one seat, down from a quality of five in the past House.

Competitors of Amit Shah-drove party, truth be told, relinquished their deposits in excess of 100 Assembly segments out of the total 119.

Be that as it may, Rao said the BJP considers Telangana voters as brilliant and they would separate between an Assembly and a Parliamentary election.

"I think voters Telangana will vote for a strong, stable and vision-based government which is our own", he said.

Rao guaranteed that the Congress is by all accounts in total disarray with "key pioneers" of the gathering absconding to the TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samiti) as of late.

He was alluding to four Congress MLAs changing dependability to the TRS from the earliest starting point of this current month.

"They (Congress) don't appear to have any weapons to battle the parliamentary elections. So, certainly the fight is probably between TRS and BJP now of time", he said.

The BJP won one seat - Secunderabad, which was sacked by former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya - in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

It is interesting to see if the party would renominate Dattatreya with senior leaders vying for this seat.
