Masood Azhar matter will be settled soon, guarantees Chinese envoy

New Delhi, Mar 17 Chinese ambassador to India Luo Zhaohui on Sunday said that China understands India's concern on Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar and he is hopeful that the issue will be settled soon.

"Regarding Azhar we completely understand and we completely trust this issue. We comprehend India's worries and are hopeful this issue will be settled," Zhaohui said while talking at Holi Melan celebrations at the Chinese embassy in Delhi.

"This issue (Masood Azhar on UNSC 1267 list) will be resolved, this is just a specialized hold which implies there is the ideal opportunity for proceeded with discussions. It will be settled, trust me," Zhaohui included.

Recalling the Wuhan summit, the Chinese emissary said that the two-route collaboration among India and China "is destined for success" and "quick track". "We are so happy with that collaboration and advancement. I am very hopeful about future collaboration," he included.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping met multiple times a year ago beginning with well known casual Wuhan summit pursued by meetings on the sidelines of SCO, BRICS and G20.
