Hyderabad, Mar 16 AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi Saturday attacked the NDA government over China obstructing an UN Security Council resolution to assign Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist.
Referring to media reports that India would demonstrate tolerance with China "for whatever length of time that it takes", he claimed that it is "not persistence but rather capitulation for FDI".
Invoking poet Ghalib, Owasi stated, "Murmur ko maaloom hai Cheen ki haqeeqat, lekin Dil ko khush rakhne ko MODI yeh khayaal achcha hai" (we know the truth of China, however Modi's plan to keep himself cheerful is great).
"Murmur ko maaloom hai Cheen ki haqeeqat, lekin Dil ko khush rakhne ko MODI yeh khayaal achcha hai (my conciliatory sentiments to GHALIB) @PMOIndia sir Woh approach Tain "andar ghus ke.... in 4 years had we given Brahmos Missile to Vietnam...this isn't tolerance however Capitulation for FDI (sic)," Owaisi tweeted.
He was referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech in Gujarat on March 5 where he had said India "will enter their (terrorists) homes and dispense with them", days after 40 CRPF faculty were killed in a suicide besieging in Pulwama area of Jammu and Kashmir followed by resulting Indian air strike on a terror camp in Balakot in Pakistan.
On Wednesday, China hindered for the fourth sequential time a goals at an UN Security Council Committee on assigning Azhar as a global terrorist.
Owaisi also had on March 14 assaulted Modi over China obstructing the UNSC goals to assign Azhar as a worldwide psychological oppressor, charging it was a disappointment of his "jhoola" (swing) discretion.
The AIMIM leader had also addressed India supposedly setting requests for impenetrable vests for its Army from China when the last wouldn't cooperate in blacklisting Azhar.
"This is a failure of Narendra Modi's 'jhoola' (swing) discretion... furthermore, this 'jhoola' tact is fantastic to the point that China will not coordinate in blacklisting this terrorist," Owaisi told correspondents here on March 14, in a clear reference to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Modi sitting on a swing in Ahmedabad amid his visit to India.
