BJP removes IP Singh for a long time on charges of anti party activities

New Delhi, Mar 25 The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday ousted IP Singh for a long time on charges of anti-party activities.

Singh has been the party representative and has had an association with the BJP traversing very nearly three decades. As of late however, he had been blamed for making comments which were either disparaging of Prime Minister Narendra Modi or in help of political opponents in UP - like Akhilesh Yadav.

The trigger for his expulsion, be that as it may, could be his Twitter post which had addressed PM Modi and had even called him pracharmantri which generally means 'minister of canvassing'.

Singh had also fired a tweet in which he had praised Akhilesh Yadav, guaranteeing that people in Purvanchal were overjoyed that the SP leader was contesting Lok Sabha election from that point.
