A plea seeking to stall the release of the film was referenced before a bench headed by Justice S A Bobde and the candidate asserted that the arrival of the motion picture will vitiate the progressing intervention continuing in the Ayodhya land debate case.
"There is no connection between the mediation proceeding and the arrival of the film," the bench said and listed the request for hearing following two weeks.
The film 'Ram Ki Janmabhoomi', directed by Sanoj Mishra, revolves around the controversial issue of Ram Mandir.
Hearing a similar petition filed before it, the Delhi High Court said Wednesday that people should be tolerant if the right to speak freely and articulation ensured under the Constitution needs to endure.
