Kolkata, Feb 14 IIM Calcutta has achieved 100 percent placement for its 2016-2018 batch within a traverse of more than two days with the consulting sector emerging as the best recruiter, as indicated by a release.
An aggregate of 481 offers were made by 131 firms of which about 50 percent were from the counseling and finance sectors, the release said.
Counseling remained as the best selection representative covering 27 percent of the aggregate batch with Accenture Strategy being the best recruiter, it said.
Budgetary firms added to 23 percent of the aggregate offers with significant enrollment specialists being J P Morgan and Co, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Bessemer Venture Partners, Goldman Sachs and CitiBank.
Bessemer Venture Partners, the most seasoned investment firm in the US, additionally went to IIM Calcutta out of the blue.
Other real parts included advertising (16 percent), general administration (14 percent), item administration and activities (12 percent) and IT and Analytics (8 percent).
Amazon, Aditya Birla Group, Star and EXL were the best selection representatives in product management & operations, general management, marketing and IT & Analytics respectively, it said.
Other real firms, for example, Flipkart, Microsoft, Uber were also among the recruiters.
