Jaipur, Oct 17 The Bahujan Samaj Party is planning to challenge each of the 200 assembly seats in Rajasthan, a party leader said in the midst of plans by BSP chief Mayawati to hold arouses in various parts of the state.
Recently, Mayawati discounted any partnership with the Congress in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in the up and coming get together surveys. In Chhattisgarh, the BSP is battling the elections alongside Ajit Jogi's Janta Congress.
Rajasthan will go to the polls on December 7.
The party won three seats in the 2013 get assembly elections in the state, anchoring 3.37 percent cast a ballot. The vote share was 7.60 percent in the 2008 elections when the party won six seats.
"Our preparations are going full bore and we will challenge on each of the 200 seats in the inevitable races," state party VP Dungarram Gedar said.
In the last assembly elections, the party had challenged in 195 constituencies.
He said the applicants will be concluded soon and Mayawati will hold revitalizes in the state.
"We are hoping to expand our count in the 2018 races since individuals are despondent with both the BJP and the Congress. There is hatred against the decision BJP and individuals are not seeing any expectation in the Congress," another BSP pioneer, Bhagwan Singh, said.
He said the party chief will hold rallies in various parts of the state during the elections.
Eastern Rajasthan areas like Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawaimadhopur and Alwar and the northern ones like Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar and Bikaner has critical Scheduled Caste (SC) populace, which form the party's vote bank.
There are 34 SC and 25 ST held seats out of the aggregate 200 voting public in the state.
"The BSP is challenging solo and the Congress will endure a misfortune," Bhagwan Singh said.
The BSP has been challenging get together decisions in the state since 1990, yet it enlisted its first victory in 1998 by winning two seats.
In 1998, the party handled 108 competitors and secured 2.17 percent vote share.
In the 2003 elections, the BSP fought in 124 constituencies and won two seats, expanding its vote share to 3.98 percent.
Its biggest success in the state was in 2008, when six BSP candidates won and the vote share expanded to 7.60 percent.
