I believe in all one of them: Maneka Gandhi on #MeToo

New Delhi, Oct 12 Minister for Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi Friday said she puts stock in every one of the ladies who have turned out with complaints of sexual harassment.

She said her service will before long propose an advisory group with senior legal and legitimate people as individuals to investigate all issues exuding from the #MeToo campaign.

"I have faith in every one of them. I have confidence in the agony and injury behind each and every single complainant.

"I am proposing to set up a council with senior legal and lawful people as individuals to investigate all issues exuding from the #MeToo campaign," she said in an interview to.

The committee will look into the legal and institutional framework which is in place for handling complaints of sexual harassment, including some of the complaints if required, and advise the ministry on how to strengthen these, she said.
