New Delhi, Oct 27 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday left for Japan to hold the yearly India-Japan bilateral summit with his Japanese partner Shinzo Abe.
This is Modi`s third visit to Japan for the summit and will be his 12th meeting with Abe since 2014.
Participation in the Indo-Pacific region and in the defence and security sector, and leveraging Japanese abilities for India`s development initiatives will be the features of the agenda in the summit which will be held on Monday.
India is the only country with which Japan holds annual bilateral summits while India has a similar arrangement with Russia as well.
