Quit AMMA all alone, claims actor Dileep

In a Facebook post, the actor also released his resignation letter dated October 10, saying he chose to quitto put a conclusion to the "connivances" and "contentions" to pulverize the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) in his name.

Dileep's FB post has sparked a controversy in Mollywood as it was instark contrast to the ongoing explanation by AMMA president Mohanlal that the actors' body had sought his resignation.

During a press meet in Kochi on October 19, actor Mohanlal had said Dileep's abdication was looked for in the wake of examining with him the interest by Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) individuals that he ought to stop the affiliation.
