New Delhi, Jan 10 Prime Minister Narendra Modi today complimented Aanchal Thakur on winning the first-ever medal for India in a skiing competition, and said the whole nation was blissful on her "memorable achievement".
The 21-year-old secured bronze in the pined for Alpine Ejder 3200 Cup composed by the Federation Internationale de Ski (FIS) skiing's worldwide administering body at the Palandoken Ski Center in Erzurum in Turkey.
"Well done @alleaanchal for winning a global medal in skiing! The whole country is blissful on your historic achievement at the FIS International Skiing Competition in Turkey. Wishing you the absolute best for your future undertakings," Modi tweeted.
