New Delhi, Jan 27 Myanmar's State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi on Saturday approached President Ram Nath Kovind.
President Kovind displayed the meeting dignitary her most loved bush roses from the Long Garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
"State Counselor of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi approached #PresidentKovind today; the President displayed his guest her most loved bramble roses from the Long Garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan," wrote in a Twitter post.
Suu Kyi, who touched base in India on Wednesday, partook in the ASEAN-India Summit and the 69th Republic Day festivities.
To mark the silver celebration of India-ASEAN reciprocal ties, India organised a memorial summit on the topic "Shared Values, Common Destiny."
In the run-up to the summit, different projects in different areas, running from culture to exchange, had been sorted out by India.
