Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Jan 24 Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday communicated her desire that Pakistan accomplices with India in battling poverty.
Tending to the Legislative Council, Mufti said that Islamabad ought to take after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recommendation to battle destitution together instead of battling with each other.
"I trust that Pakistan follows Prime Minister Modi's recommendation truly that battling destitution together is the route forward as opposed to battling with each other. We need to figure out how to live respectively; making dugouts isn't a long term solution," she said.
Reportedly, Chief Minister Mufti had said the Union home service had passed on its endorse for the development of the dugouts in the border districts of Jammu area.
Recently, the Jammu and Kashmir assembly had seen hullabaloo over the issue of ceasefire violations along Line of Control (LoC).
Opposition National Conference (NC) and the Congress party attempted to corner the state government over the issue.
Because of the continuous pressure on the border amongst India and Pakistan on January 21, the Opposition arranged a walkout from the Jammu and Kashmir get together to dissent controlling government's "disappointment" to secure the lives of fringe inhabitants in the ceasefire violations.
As per reports, a total of 10 people, including two Border Security Force (BSF) faculty and two Army jawans, were executed and more than 40 others harmed in the overwhelming discharging and shelling by Pakistan along the International Border and Line of Control in the Valley since January 17.
