Class 1 student assaulted in school toilet in UP

Lucknow, Jan 17 A Class 1 student was harmed when he was purportedly assaulted with a sharp-edged weapon in the can of a non-public school here, an episode like the killing of a Ryan school student in Gurgaon.

The occurrence occurred last morning in the latrine of Brightland School in Triveni Nagar region in which six-year-old Ritik was harmed, police said.

"I was educated by the school that my child is harmed. He has been assaulted with cut by a young lady," said the casualty's upset father Rajesh, a class four worker in the high court here.

The boy has been admitted to the Trauma Center. His condition was expressed to be out of threat, authorities said.

Dr Sandeep Tewari, who was treating the kid, said the casualty had profound injuries on chest and stomach that "appear to have been exacted with a blade like sharp question".

Panic gripped the school today when different guardians came to think about the occurrence and accused the school administration of attempting to quiet the case.

Whenever reached, chief of the school Veena Vyas, stated, "I am playing it safe in perspective of Ryan International school case. We are likewise taking a gander at whether it is due to the deadly game 'Blue Whale Challenge'."

"We have 70 CCTV cameras installed in the school and we are experiencing the recording," she said.

Police are testing the issue and are yet to recognize the student who assaulted the boy.

A seven-year-old kid, Pradyuman Thakur, studying in class II in Gurgaon's Ryan International School, was discovered dead with his throat opening by a sharp-edged weapon in the school's washroom in September a year ago in which a 16-year-old student has been accused of perpetrating the wrongdoing.
