New Delhi, Jan 25 Congress pioneer Tehseen Poonawalla on Thursday educated that the Supreme Court has consented to hear the contempt request of against the state governments of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana for not finding a way to ensure law and order before the release of the film 'Padmaavat'.
"The Honorable Supreme Court has consented to hear my request of on Monday. I prayed the Honorable Supreme Court that its judgment with regard to Padmaavat on January 18 isn't being taken after, while the law and order circumstance is being abused", Poonawalla told.
Talking about the Gurugram incident, where a school bus was assaulted on Wednesday by a group of men challenging the questionable film, Poonawalla said that it is a state government's obligation to see that its kin are maintaining the Supreme Court's decision.
"Innocent children are being stoned, they are crying and being tormented. Law and order is the responsibility of the state governments to summon chief secretaries, home secretaries and DGP's of these four states (Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana) and ask them for what valid reason the Supreme Court judgement isn't being followed", he included.
He included that once the Supreme Court has given a request that request is last.
Poonawalla, in his request, expressed that the four states had bombed in their obligation to keep up peace.
