Kumar Vishwas terms office of profit case as 'sad'

Ahmednagar (Maharashtra), Jan 20 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) pioneer Kumar Vishwas on Saturday named the exclusion of 20 of its MLAs for holding the workplace of benefit as 'unfortunate' and 'sad'.

"It's very unfortunate and sad that the Election Commission hosts prescribed 20 Aam Aadmi Gathering (AAP) MLAs be disqualified from the Delhi Assembly for holding offices of profit. I had given certain suggestions before however I was told to it's the CM's privilege to delegate individuals so I stayed silent," Vishwas told.

Vishwas said that he has likewise been expelled from different WhatsApp gatherings of the gathering.

Notwithstanding, candidate Prashant Patel in the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs' office of profit case has expressed satisfaction over the ECI's suggestions.

The ECI on Friday suggested President Ram Nath Kovind that the 20 MLAs be disqualified.

In cases where petitions are made looking for the preclusion of officials, the President sends a reference to the ECI which settles on the case by sending back its opinion.

If the president gives his consent, the exclusion of the officials would make ready for bye-elections in Delhi.
