Mumbai, Jan 30 Retreating from its record abnormal state, the benchmark BSE Sensex lost more than 162 focuses in opening exchange today on benefit booking in late gainers in the midst of frail leads from worldwide markets.
The BSE 30-share gauge fell by 162.24 points or 0.45 percent to 36,121.01 with IT, teck, human services, metal, capital merchandise and keeping money stocks falling up to 0.68 percent.
The check had increased 232.81 points to close at another pinnacle of 36,283.25 subsequent to scaling a record-breaking intra-day high of 36,443.98 in yesterday's exchange.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was down 0.30 percent, Japan's Nikkei shed 0.64 percent and Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.41 percent.
The US Dow Jones Industrial Average finished 0.67 percent bring down in yesterday's exchange.
