New Delhi Jan 17 Former Pakistan Diplomat Husain Haqqani on Wednesday said Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi needs to approach with persuading confirmation to back his claim that there is no generous proof to attempt and convict 26/11 terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed.
Taking an interest in a media cooperation on the sidelines of the continuous Raisina Dialog here, Ambassador Haqqani stated, "I believe that the worldwide group has offered prove, and, if the Pakistan Prime Minister feels there is no considerable proof against Hafiz Saeed, at that point he should converse with the global group."
"All things considered, the U.S. has talked about this confirmation and I am for prove being offered, as we live in a cultivated world, and in that, prove is required and imperative. In any case, it isn't sensible to state that what whatever is left of the world thinks about significant, isn't viewed as considerable by the Pakistan Prime Minister," he added.
Prior, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that there is no body of evidence enlisted against Mumbai assault engineer Hafiz Saeed in Islamabad and without it, activity can't be started against anybody.
"Move is made when there is a case registered against someone," said Abbasi in a meeting, quoted Geo TV.
Prior in November, the Pakistan Prime Minister had asserted that India has given "no confirmation" against Saeed based on which he can be arraigned.
"The court, a three-judge seat, has discharged him (Saeed) saying there are no charges against him, the nation has a law you know," said Abbasi.
The Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) boss is likewise hoping to challenge the 2018 general elections in Pakistan and has, along these lines, shaped a gathering by the name of Milli Muslim League (MML).
Pakistan has as of late precluded Saeed's JuD and Falah-I-Insaniat Foundation (FIF) from gathering gifts.
Saeed was releasedfrom house arrest after a Pakistani court refered to absence of confirmation against him in the 26/11 Mumbai attack case.
India has, time and again, challenged Pakistan for harboring Saeed, who is needed for plotting the Mumbai attacks.
